Interview on This Photography Life by Chris Suspect

I recently had the opportunity to answer some great questions for Megan M Kwasniak's This Photography Life blog including what constitutes style in photography and whether identifying with a genre of photography is more limiting or liberating.

I met Megan at StreetFoto San Francisco and then again at The Miami Street Photography Festival (MSPF) last year. She was on the DC SPC street battle team against the Burn My Eye collective in Miami with her friend Sonia Goydenko, another awesome photographer. I admit because I saw some of their work in SF I knew I stacked the deck against Burn My Eye. I credit both of them for our win!

Very excited to be on the awesome Outerfocus podcast with Ian Weldon. We go on for quite a bit talking about my punk rock history, its influence on my photography, why I don't make any money with photography, why photography is like a long distance race, the difference on our respective opinions of color in photography, and much more!

Give it a listen below and discover why Outerfocus is the best and most honest photography podcast out there.
