Street Photography Workshop in Oaxaca 2022 by Chris Suspect

I was just going through some street photography images from my trip to Oaxaca this past April when it dawned on me I should let people know there are only 2 spots left for my annual Day of the Dead street photography workshop in Oaxaca this year, Oct. 28 through Nov. 4.

Early bird pricing of $2,995 is only available to those who pay in full up to July 15. After July 15, price is $3,495.

Deadline is September 1. Click here to learn more.

The images in this post come from a combination of a Charrería in Etla, Holy Week in Teotitlán del Valle, and the streets of Oaxaca de Juárez.

Mexican Silhouettes Updated for 2021 by Chris Suspect

During this year’s Day of the Dead workshop in San Miguel de Allende I personally focused on updating my Mexican Silhouettes portfolio that I have been working on for several years. I have just added 10 new images and removed about as many. Photography projects always seem to be a work in progress. I guess you will know when it’s done when you have either exhausted all visual possibilities or you just grow out of it. For now I definitely plan to do more of the same when I return next year, trying to make more complicated and/or graphic images.
