A sneak peek of what my new book Gratuity Included will actually look like using the proof from the printer. Here you can see what the red film inserts will look like. You can preorder a copy now here.
Preorders for Gratuity Included are Live! /
Big news! I am now taking pre-orders for my new book entitled Gratuity Included. 41 black and white photos from 2012 to 2019 spread out over 70 pages. All of these images are quite graphic and they are sequenced in a way that reminds one of a fever dream set in an underground nightscape!
The first edition is limited to 150 copies and features red film inserts that indicate new image sequences. It also comes with a red film book cover. Finding a printer that would handle these red film inserts was a real challenge. The next edition will not have this feature.
The images in this post shows you one of the images in Gratuity Included, and then how the image looks in the book. In this case what you see is how the red film insert looks when you flip it as a page. The last image in the set is the cover with the red film jacket.
I will be sharing more spreads and additional info this month. There is also a book release and exhibition planed for Fri. March 27 in Washington, D.C. More details coming soon.
In the mean time please support me in my quest to publish 4 books in one year and secure your copy of this limited edition one now.

I am very excited that one of my images from my FAITH project will be part of the Round Hole Square Peg 4 exhibit at PHOTO LA Jan. 30 through Feb 2. Round Hole Square Peg is a biennial international survey of the queer photographic gaze and PHOTO LA is the longest running contemporary art fair on the west coast.
After PHOTO LA, Round Hole Square Peg 4 moves to the City of West Hollywood's Plummer Park Gallery for a longer museum-like run from February 8-March 4, 2020, with a special opening and closing night reception.
Opening night in West Hollywood will feature a celebrity-driven, live photography auction to benefit The Trevor Project: the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth and the ONE Archives Foundation: a vital resource for showcasing the trailblazing history and rich culture of LGBTQ communities through exhibitions, public programs, and education initiatives that pull from the largest collection of LGBTQ archival materials in the world.
